Ree2 is an artist well-known for his advocation of modern House and Tech flavours, sporadically broken up by subtle injections of nostalgic timelessness. His musical tree has deep roots in 90s House, Garage, RnB and Hip-Hop, which is a prominent path of influence for most of today's most successful UK artists. His varied passion for the foundational elements of current house and techno and their associated sub-genres have led the way for bookings inside and outside of the UK and have inspired what was once a hobby to transpire into a desire for more.
Citing inspiration from artists such as Low Steppa, Dennis Quin, Greco (NYC) and Solardo to name but a few, Ree2 puts the bulk of emphasis on uplifting house and tech house within his performances. He has come a long way since being introduced to a pair of turntables by a friend, from running student nights in his native Cambridge to study at London Sound Academy. He has always given music a place of sincere gravity from the very beginning, and it continues to lead him to achieve the goals he sets himself as an artist and performer.
After venturing into the London scene and enrolling with LSA, Ree2 found himself on the receiving end of his first international booking in Ibiza (which then transcended to many more). He has been privileged enough to play on some of the island’s most-loved venues, including the likes of Blue Rooms, Es Paradis, Ibiza Rocks Bar, Rio, Itaca and more. Returning to the UK, Ree2 found himself beginning to amass traction within the London club scene, with venues such as Horse & Groom, Zigfrid Von Underbelly being among the mix.
Add to his London and Ibiza exposure a residency Cambridge 105 Radio, along with the formation of his Hiive Collective brand which serves as an outlet for livestreams and mixtapes from himself and other up-and-coming artists.
With more UK and International bookings on the horizon, Ree2 now turns his focus to production with the aim of releasing his first works in the coming months. A lot of self-taught skill and personally discovered talent, combined with high-quality tutoring and big bookings can only mean one thing: it won’t be long before Ree2 starts to become a regular instalment with some of his biggest influences.

Originating from sunny Bournemouth town and loving every second of dj life down on the UK South Coast is XJ.
A passionate and meticulous dj whose pin point precision mixing, together with sensational tune selection has his crowds up and glued to the dance floor.
XJ has had music running through his veins since birth and began getting more closely involved with music at the age of 13 when he picked up the mic and tried his hand at being an mc. After a few years on the mic XJ had the urge to mix and started messing around on a few of his friends decks. He then became a family man at an early age so XJ took some time out from the music scene and in 2005, he finally acquired his own setup.
After a couple of years playing his vinyl at every chance he could get, XJ was ready to play out in his home town. He got involved with some local events and played at several Bournemouth hot spots including The Old Fire Station, Empire, Dusk till Dawn and DNA. When XJ attended university in 2010 he met a few like-minded dance music enthusiasts and together they launched their first drum and bass event Fracture in Bournemouth at the club Dusk Till Dawn. After the success of this event XJ’s passion and drive grew and the rest is history.
His monthly residency at SoHo has become a regular hot spot for the local, house hungry bar hoppers. In 2017 XJ toured around Ibiza for his debut on the clubbing island, supporting the Parasol Ibiza Tour in association with Darkest Before Dawn Records.
In 2018 he took his skills and sound to Ayia Napa as a resident DJ for Ayia Napa House Party hosted by House Party Events, along with house legend Junior Jack and 48 other national and international djs. In 2019 XJ returned to Ayia Napa with House Party Events alongside his fellow residents and up and coming djs Craig Knight, Franky Wah and Hot like Detroit.
In June 2019 XJ bagged his first festival slot, Home Farm Fest in Somerset, followed by his next summer booking at the largest festival in Wales: Logic Festival. The next step for XJ for 2020 is production so watch this space!
